On Wednesday Jack saw Harry Potter: The Exhibition, a touring museum show of hundreds of costumes, props, models and artifacts from the making of the six Harry Potter films.
I had a great time. You needn't be a big fan, in awe to be in the presence of actual relics, to be fascinated with the glimpses into what goes into making a film.
For example, on close inspection, most of the costumes were a bit more shabby then you'd ever expect. On the other hand, some of the smallest items, that might be glimpsed for a second in the final film, were rendered down to the last detail.
The show was at the Museum of Science and Industry, so that I can also report that the coal mine is no longer scary, and the submarine is now indoors in a new underground hall with lots of nice supporting exhibits. Deli Man (the sliced human being between glass) was closed for renovation.

- Grown-ups never understand anything by themselves, and it is tiresome for children to be always and forever explaining things to them.
